진디는 오스트레일리아 퀸즐랜드 주 센트럴 하이랜드 지역에 있는 시골 지역이다.[2]2016년 인구조사에서 진디는 209명의 인구를 가지고 있었다.[1]

지리

페르넬레스 마을은 남부 긴디(23°51°24″S 148°07′30″E / 23.8567°S 148.1250°E / -23.8567; 148.1250(페른레즈))에 위치해 있다.[3][4]

그레고리 하이웨이는 북부(에메랄드)에서 남부(미네르바)까지 페르넬레스 마을을 통과하는 지역이다.블랙워터 철도 노선은 지역성을 평행으로 통과하며, 고속도로의 바로 동쪽을 통과하며, 펀레스에서 철도측면이 있다(23°515120″S 148°07′27″E / 23.8556°S 148.1242°E / -23.8556; 148.1242(페른리스 철도측).[5]

역사

긴디라는 이름은 "muck brigalow"[6]를 의미한다.

긴디 임시 학교(일명 긴디 시딩 임시 학교)는 1897년 11월 12일 개교하여 1909년 1월 1일 긴디 주립 학교가 되었다.이 학교는 1949년에 문을 닫았다가 나중에 다시 문을 열었다.[7][8]

진디 주립 농장은 1898년 지역에서 수수, 옥수수, 호박과 같은 새로운 종류의 농작물을 재배하는 실험을 하기 위해 설립되었다.그 농장은 1932년에 문을 닫았다.[9]

페르넬레스 주립학교는 1951년 9월 20일에 개교하여 1953년에 폐교하였다.[10]

페르넬레스 감리교회는 1959년 그레고리 고속도로 2780번지(23°51′23″S 148°07′31″E / 23.8564°S 148.1252°E / -23.8564; 148.1252년(이전)에 설립되었다.1977년 감리교회가 호주 유니팅 교회로 합병된 데 이어 페르넬레스 유니팅 교회가 되었다.2007년에 문을 닫았다.지금은 사택이 되었다.[11][12][13]

2020년 4월 17일 퀸즐랜드 정부는 젬필드 일대의 지역성을 루비베일, 사파이어 센트럴, 아나키 시딩(각각 루비베일, 사파이어, 아나키시의 마을 주변)의 새로운 3개 지역으로 대체함으로써 중앙고원 지역 내의 지역 경계를 다시 허물었다.여기에는 이러한 변화에 적응하기 위해 그 지역의 다른 기존 지역들의 경계를 조정하는 것이 포함되었다; 진디는 젬필드의 남동쪽 모퉁이를 차지하고 로칭턴의 동쪽 가장자리를 얻었지만, 북쪽의 작은 지역과 북동쪽의 작은 지역을 아나키 시딩으로 잃음으로써 로카 지역의 면적을 증가시켰다.이도는 1,293.4에서 1,335.3 평방 킬로미터까지 (499.4에서 515.6 sq mi)이다.[15][16][17][4]이러한 변화의 결과로 마라분 호수는 현재 전적으로 긴디 북서쪽에 있으며, 로칭턴과 미네르바/긴디의 경계는 노고아 강의 진로를 더 가깝게 따라간다.[4]

교육

긴디 주립학교(Gindie State School)는 올드 컬렌라링고 도로와 그레고리 고속도로(Gregory Highway, 23°43 at27″S 148°0) 모퉁이에 있는 소년소학교(Prep-6)이다.8′27″E / 23.7242°S 148.1408°E / -23.7242; 148.1408(긴디주립학교)[18][19]2013년 이 학교는 P-2와 3-7 등 2개 반 40명의 학생이 등록해 3명의 교사(전임제 2명)가 등록했다.[20]2018년 이 학교에는 교사 4명(정규직 3명), 비교직원 8명(정규직 2명)으로 35명이 등록했다.[21]

캠프 페어바인 야외교육센터는 페어바인 댐의 야외 및 환경교육센터(23°393952″S 148°05′31″E / 23.6645°S 148.0920°E / -23.6645; 148.0920(캠프 페어바인 야외교육센터)[18]이다.교장과 교사 3명, 비교사 3명이 근무하고 있다.[22]그것은 준비부터 12학년까지 학생들을 위한 기본적인 주거 시설과 야외 프로그램을 제공한다.[23]
