게오르크 포처(Georg Pfotzer, 1909년 11월 29일 ~ 1981년 7월 24일)는 독일의 물리학자이다.

그는 1930년대 에리히 리제너(Erich Regener)의 학생으로 리제너(Resener)와 협력하여 가이거 계수기와 같은 과학 장비를 대기권 [1]상층부로 운반하기 위해 풍선을 사용하여 우주선을 조사했다.우주선에 의해 발생하는 대기 중의 하전 입자의 분포와 관련된 Pfotzer 곡선과 Pfotzer 최대값은 [2][3][4]그의 이름을 따왔다.리제너가 주 수사관이었던 만큼 오해의 소지가 있다는 주장이 제기됐지만, 나치 시절 아내가 유대인 [1]혈통이어서 박해받고 사임해야 했다.

그는 1965년에서 [5]1977년 사이에 태양계 연구를 위한 막스 플랑크 연구소의 소장이었다.
