가르간도는 말리의 톰부토 지방에 위치한 작은 마을이다. 사람들은 주로 켈안사르 부족의 소분류(그 기원을 메디나의 안사르족으로 추적한다) 출신이다. 그 마을에는 교육을 받은 투아레그 사람들이 많이 있다.
가르간도족의 디아스포라는 말리 전역에 분포하며, 체리페네, 켈 라자프, 이다네, 켈 티나카와테, 켈 인디렌, 켈 엠미말레인 등이 있다. 켈 안테사르족의 현 추장인 모하메드 엘메디 아그 아타허는 비록 마을의 지리적 경계는 주민의 사회학적 분류에 부합하지 않지만 가르간도 출신이다.
가르간도의 코뮌 농촌은 1996년 11월 4일 법 96-059에 의해 만들어졌다. It is bordered on the north by the Commune Rurale of Adarmalane, on the northwest by the Commune Rurale of Râz-El-Mâ, on the northeast by the Commune of M'Bouna, on the east by the communes of Télé and Goundam, on the west by the Commune Rurale of Télemsi and that of Aljounoub, on the southwest by the communes of Djanké and Soumpi, on the south by 소반두의 코뮌과 톤카의 코뮌 농촌에 의한 남동쪽.
2009년 인구 조사의 인구는 7,950명이었다.[2] 인구는 타마체크다.[3]
국가정부는 부청으로 대표되고, 국민건강서비스는 의료우체국장이, 국가교육서비스는 학교장이 대표한다.
