oSIP는 Session Initiation Protocol(SIP)의 하위 계층을 구현하는 VoIP 애플리케이션을 위한 무료 소프트웨어 라이브러리입니다.라이브러리에는 SIP 응용 프로그램에 필요한 최소한의 코드베이스가 포함되어 있으며 SIP 확장 또는 동작을 구현하기에 충분한 유연성이 있습니다.2000년 9월에 시작되어 2001년 4월에 발행된 oSIP는 현재 개발 및 유지 보수 중인 가장 오래된 SIP 오픈소스 스택 중 하나입니다.이 프로젝트는 2002년에 GNU oSIP로서 GNU 프로젝트의 일부가 되었습니다.
