듀안 슬릭(Duane Slick, 1961년 출생)[1]은 메스콰키 미술가 겸 호청크 계통의 교육자다.그는 단색화로 유명하다.[2][3]1995년부터 로드아일랜드 디자인스쿨(RISD)에서 미술을 가르쳤다.[4]

듀안 슬릭은 1961년 아이오와 주 워털루에서 메스콰키 아버지와 호청크 어머니 사이에서 태어났다.[4][5]그는 북부 아이오와 대학에서 회화학 학사 학위와 미술 교육학 학사 학위를 받았다.[when?]슬릭은 1990년 캘리포니아 대학교 데이비스(UC Davis)에서 그림으로 MFA 학위를 취득했다.[6]UC 데이비스에 있는 동안, 그는 예술가 조지 롱피쉬의 지도를 받았다.[7]
