해발 12,023피트(3,665m)의 도날드슨 봉우리는 미국 아이다호 주에서 8번째로 높고 로스트 리버 산맥에서 7번째로 높은 봉우리다.그 봉우리는 커스터 카운티의 Salmon-Challis National Forest에 위치해 있다.마운트 교회로부터 동쪽으로 0.65마일(1.05km) 떨어져 있으며, 라인 모체인 마운트 브라이텐바흐에서 서쪽으로 1.4마일(2.3km) 떨어져 있다.[3][4][5]
