Donald Rosenberg

도널드 로젠버그는 미국의 음악가, 음악 비평가, 언론인이다.

로젠버그는 뉴욕시에서 태어나 맨즈 음악대학과 예일 음악대학에서 교육을 받았다.아스펜 음악제와 말보로 음악제에 참가한 뿔피리 선수다.[1]

로젠버그는 1977-89년 애크론 비컨 저널에,[2] 그 후 피츠버그 프레스(1989-92년), 클리블랜드의 플레인 딜러(1992년)에 기고한 바 있다.[1]클리블랜드 오케스트라 스토리(The Cleveland Oscar Story) 그의 700쪽 분량의 클리블랜드 오케스트라 역사책인 ISBN1-886228-24-8은 2000년 출간됐다.[3]2008년 《플레인 딜러》[2][4]의 수석 클래식 음악 평론가 자리에서 물러난 것으로 알려졌는데, 그는 클리블랜드 오케스트라의 음악 감독인 프란츠 웰서 뫼스트를 비판한 것으로 알려졌다.로젠버그는 2013년에 평원 딜러에서 해고되었다.[4]

로젠버그는 북아메리카 음악 비평가 협회 회장을 4번 역임했다.[1]2014년 3월에는 EMAg(Early Music America Magazine)의 편집장으로 임명되었다.[5]그는 2011년부터 18년까지 오벌린 음악원의 방문 교사였다.[1]
