도널드 구트리(Donald Guthrie, 1916년 2월 21일 ~ 1992년[1] 9월 8일)는 영국의 신약성서학자로서 신약성서 도입(1962년)과 신약성서 신학(1981년)으로 가장 잘 알려져 있으며 신약성서와 관련된 유의미한 저서로 인정받고 있다.[2]

인생

구트리는 런던대학교가 인가한 런던성경대학(현 런던 신학교)에서 신학 학사 프로그램에 대해 공부했다. 학위를 마치기 전에, 구트리는 그 대학의 교장 어니스트 케반의 초청으로 그 대학에서 강의를 시작했다. 1982년 은퇴할 때까지 이 대학에서 강의를 계속하다가 1978년 교감이 되었다. 그 후 1983년부터 사망할 때까지 이 대학의 총장을 지냈다.[3]
