DeepWorker 2000 잠수정을 탑재한 MV Liberty Star
딥워커 2000은 뉴이코 리서치가 개발한 잠수함 차량이다.610m(2001ft) 깊이까지 하강할 수 있고 12시간 동안 물에 잠길 수 있다.1999년에는 내셔널지오그래픽 소사이어티의 지속가능한 바다 탐험대와 연계하여 5년간의 임무를 띠고 대륙붕과 대륙상단 경사면에 배치되었다.[1]
프로젝트
1999년, 딥 워커 2000 잠수정을 사용하여 스텔바겐 은행 국립 해양 보호구역 내에서 이용되는 우주 자원뿐만 아니라 어종도 정량화하였다.[2]
2000년에 딥워크 2000은 플로리다 미들그라운드에 위치한 산호초 시스템을 평가하는 데 사용되었다.[3]
