데카리아는 디디에레아과에 속하는 꽃식물의 단모형 속이다.[1]데카리아 마다가스카리엔시스 츄우크스 1종이 있다.
원산지 범위는 마다가스카르로,[1] 처음 설명되어 Mem에서 출판되었다.아카드. 나틀.1934년 사이언스 리옹, Cl.[2] 사이언스 17권 62쪽
마다가스카르에서 연구를 수행하고 프랑스 국립자연사박물관에 소장한 프랑스의 식물학자, 민족학자, 식민지 행정가인 레이먼드 데커리(1891~1973)의 이름을 따서 지은 것이다.[3]
