클라우디오 '클로' 멘데스 비센테(2000년 12월 8일생)는 UD 라스팔마스로부터 임대받아 스페인 클럽 CF 라요 마자다혼다의 왼쪽 윙어로 활약하는 프로 축구선수다. 스페인에서 태어난 그는 국제적으로 기니비사를 대표한다.
클럽 커리어
멘데스는 2019년 UD 라스팔마스에 입단하기 전 젊은 시절 SRCyD 토렐라베가와 CD 오리엔타시온 마리티마를 대표해 카나리아 제도 아르레시페에서 태어났다.[1][2] 당초 테르세라 디비시온의 C팀에 배정된 그는 그해 8월 31일 시니어 데뷔전을 치렀고, CD 부자나다와의 원정경기에서 1-2로 패하며 하프타임 교체 선수로 활약했다.
멘데스는 2019년 9월 7일 첫 시니어 골을 터뜨려 3-0으로 앞선 EMF 아틀레티코 유니온 귀마르와의 홈경기에서 마지막 골을 터뜨렸다.[3] 12월에는 세군다 디비시온 B에서도 예비역 출연을 시작했다.[4]
Mendes made his first team debut with the Amarillos on 13 June 2020, replacing Juanjo Narváez late into a 0–0 Segunda División home draw against Girona FC;[5] aged 19 years and 188 days, he became the third-youngest debutant of the club's history who was born in the isle of Lanzarote, only behind Sito and Antonio Betancort's debuts.[6]
멘데스는 2020년 9월 20일 첫 프로 골을 터뜨려 CF 푸엔라브라다와의 3-3 홈 무승부에서 막판 동점골을 터뜨렸다.[7] 좀처럼 활용되지 않은 그는 2022년 1월 25일, 남은 선거운동 기간 동안 프리메라리가 디비시온 RFEF 측 CF 라요 마자다혼다에 임대되었다.[8]
국제 경력
스페인에서 태어난 멘데스는 비사우귀네 혈통이다.[9] 그는 2019년 아프리카 U-17 네이션스컵 예선전에서 후반 18세 이하를 대표하며 데뷔전에서 골을 넣었다.[10]
사생활
멘데스의 쌍둥이 동생 레오도 축구선수다. 골키퍼 한 명은 다른 팀으로 이적하기 전에 오리엔타시온에서 포메이션을 마쳤다.[11]
