버스 마우스는 특수한 인터페이스(원래 마이크로소프트의 원래 마우스 제품용으로 개발된 마이크로소프트 InPort 인터페이스)를 사용하여 컴퓨터에 부착되는 다양한 PC 컴퓨터 마우스다.
1980년대 후반, 마우스는 IBM과 호환되는 개인용 컴퓨터와 통합되지 않았으며, 전문화된 버스 인터페이스(ISA 애드인 카드를 통해 구현)는 마우스를 연결하는 두 가지 인기 있는 방법 중 하나였다.(일련 인터페이스는 다른 방법이었다.)IBM PS/2가 도입되었을 때, 키보드 컨트롤러와 통합된 마더보드 마우스 인터페이스(PS/2 브랜드가 철회된 후 오랫동안 PS/2 마우스 인터페이스라고 불림)가 포함되었다. 이는 버스 마우스 디자인을 시장에서 상당히 빠르게 몰아냈다.
이 버스 마우스는 일본의 NEC PC-98 개인용 컴퓨터 제품군에 살았다.
