브루스 애덤슨은 2017년부터 스코틀랜드 어린이 및 청년 위원장으로 재직하고 있다.
초년기
아담슨은 원래 뉴질랜드의 팔머스턴 노스 출신이다.[1] 그는 Palmerston North Boys' 고등학교를 다녔다.[2] 웰링턴 빅토리아 대학에서 그는 예술 학사(역사학 석사)와 법학 학사 학위를 받았다.[3]
아담슨은 2002년 스코틀랜드로 이주하기 전에 뉴질랜드의 가정과 형사법원에서 연습했다.
배경
애덤슨은 2005년 스코틀랜드의 어린이와 젊은이 위원회 설립 당시 팀의 일원이었다.[2]
그는 스코틀랜드 인권 위원회의 법률 사무관이었으며 아동 패널의 일원으로 일했다.[4][5]
2013년 그는 제네바에서 세계국가인권기구연합(Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institute)의 지위에 올랐다. [6] 전 세계 인권 개선을 위해 노력하는 100개국 이상의 기관들을 대표한다.[7]
아동·청년청장
2017년 3월 14일, 의회는 그의 지명을 승인했다.[8]
애덤슨은 매질[9] 금지와 범죄 책임 나이 인상을 지지하는 발언을 했다.[10]
