광대역 전선관 구축법
Broadband Conduit Deployment Act2009년 광대역 도관 구축법(H.R. 2428), (H.R. 1695년 (H.R. 1695년) 및 114/2015년 H.R. 3805로 재도입됨)은 새로운 연방 도로 프로젝트에 도로 측면을 따라 매립되는 플라스틱 도관을 포함하도록 요구하고, 그 중 "다중 광대역통신사를 확보"하기에 충분하다.[1]
"업계 전문가들에 따르면, 새로운 광대역 구축 비용의 절반 이상이 도로를 부수고 재포장하는 비용에 기인한다"고 한다.에스후. "도로 아래 지반이 노출된 상태에서 광대역 도관을 제자리에 배치함으로써, 우리는 인가된 통신사가 나중에 들어와 훨씬 저렴한 비용으로 광섬유 케이블을 설치할 수 있도록 할 것이다."[2]그 법안은 구글의 지원을 받고 있다.[3][4]
