중남미은행

중남미 은행은 1922년 코네티컷에 설립되었다.The next year it acquired some of the assets of the Mercantile Bank of the Americas (est. 1915), including its entire interest in the National Bank of Nicaragua, Banco Mercantil de Costa Rica, Banco Mercantil Americano del Peru, Banco Mercantil Americano de Caracas and Banco Mercantil Americano de Colombia.함부르크에 지사를 두었으며, 베네수엘라 4개, 페루 6개, 콜롬비아 8개, 니카라과 4개, 코스타리카 1개 등 중남미 22개 지사를 두었다.

이 은행의 주주들은 J.P.모건 & 컴퍼니,보증신탁 회사, 브라운 브라더스 앤 컴퍼니, J.와 W. 셀리그만 앤 컴퍼니, 옥수수 교환 은행, 기계금속 국립 은행, W.R.그레이스 앤 컴퍼니 등의 회사들과 다른 이권들을 포함했다.연줄과 경험 많은 장교들에도 불구하고, 그 은행은 성공하지 못했고 1925년 캐나다 왕립은행은 남미 은행을 매입했다.
