Astrocast

Astrocast는 스위스 로잔에 본사를 둔 위성 통신 회사이다.사물인터넷(IoT) 애플리케이션을 위한 글로벌 위성망 구축을 목표로 하고 있다.

아스트로캐스트는 EPFL 동문들이 2014년[1] 설립해 [2]2021년 70명을 고용했다.2018년 12월 SpaceX Falcon 9 [3]로켓에 실려 첫 5개의 위성을 발사했고 2021년 [4]6월에는 5개의 위성을 발사했다.2024년까지 [2]100개의 위성으로 구성된 전체 네트워크를 운영하는 것을 목표로 하고 있다.아스트로캐스트의 나노위성들은 큐브샛으로 크기가 [3]10cm(3.9인치)이다.

Astrocast는 벤처 캐피털 회사인 Adit Ventures, Airbus SE의 벤처 사업부 및 유럽 우주국에 [citation needed]의해 후원된다.

2022년 6월, 아스트로캐스트는 암스테르담에 본사를 둔 IoT 우주 기술 [5]회사인 하이버를 인수한다고 발표했다.
