앤드루 벡위드(1995년 3월 22일생)는 전 미국 프로 야구 투수다.[1]
경력
앤드류 벡위드는 사우스캐롤라이나 주 블라이스우드에 있는 블라이스우드 고등학교에 입학하기 전 캘리포니아 주 코스트캐롤라이나 대학에 입학했다.[2] 2016년에는 올해의 빅 사우스 컨퍼런스 투수로 선정되었다.[3] 벡위드는 2016년 칼리지 월드시리즈에서 코스트캐롤라이나를 상대로 3경기에 선발 등판해 2개의 자책점을 허용했다. 23+2⁄3 ½innings을 던졌다. 벡위드는 117이닝 동안 15승 1패 평균자책점 1.85로 주니어 시즌을 마감하며 [4]칼리지 월드시리즈 최우수선수로 선정됐다.[5] 벡비드는 3학년 때 샹티클러스의 구원자로 돌아왔다.[6]
캔자스시티 로열스는 2017년 메이저리그 드래프트 32라운드에서 벡위드를 선발했다.[7] 벡위드는 로얄스와 계약하고 AZL 로얄스와 아이다호 폴스 추카스 모두와 2017시즌을 함께 보냈으며 양 구단의 16경기에서 합계 1-0과 평균자책점 3.29를 기록했다.[8]
벡위드는 노스웨스트 아칸소 나투랄스에서 2019년을 시작했다.[9]
