ALBA-1은 쿠바와 베네수엘라 간 통신을 위한 해저 통신 케이블이다.
이 광케이블은 2010년과 2011년 베네수엘라 정부에 의해 설치되었다. 설명할 수 없는 2년의 숙소가 있은 후, 더그 마도리의 인터넷 라우팅 분석은 그것이 2013년 1월 15일 화요일에 활성화되었음을 밝혔다.[1][2][3] 쿠바 국가기관 그란마는 이틀 뒤 확인서를 발표했다.[4][5] ALBA-1은 라틴아메리카 볼리바리안 아미민족동맹(ALBA)(스페인어: 알리안자 볼리바리아나 파라 로스 푸에블로스 데 누에스트라 아메리카). 라과이라(베네수엘라), 시보니, 쿠바, 오초 리오스(자메이카) 사이에 걸쳐 있다.[6]
