이뢰는 또한 예로와, 예로와, 예로웨 또는 예로와(소말리: 이뢰위, 아랍어: يرهه)는 부라오 구에 있는 마을로, 소말릴란드 토그드헤어 지역에 위치한다.[1] 이 마을은 토그드헤어 지역의 지방 수도인 부라오에서 동쪽으로 20km 떨어진 곳에 위치해 있다.[2]

개요

이 마을은 이 지역을 둘러싸고 있는 바위 언덕으로 유명하며 소말리아에서는 아프리카 뿔에 세일라드로 알려진 가장 큰 가축 시장이 자리잡고 있으며, 하루에 무려 1만 마리의 양과 염소들이 팔리고 있으며, 이들 중 많은 수가 베르베라 항을 통해 걸프 주로 운송되었다.[3][4][5] 이로웨의 가축시장은 수출되는 양과 염소의 최대 70%와 베르베라에서 수출되는 낙타의 65%를 취급하고 있다. 그 시장은 아프리카 뿔의 각지에서 온 가축들을 취급한다.[6]

소말릴랜드의 중심지는 소말릴랜드의 유목민 내륙과 부라오, 에리가보, 아이나바, 라스 아노드 같은 주요 도시들을 소말릴랜드의 수도 하르게이사와 베르베라의 주요 항구로 연결하는 허브 역할을 한다.[7]

이로우는 소말릴랜드에서 활동하는 최대 기업 중 하나인 인다데로(Indha Deero)사의 지점도 갖고 있다.[8]

인구통계학

이루웨는 토지분쟁 당시 피난한 민간인과 유목민들을 수용하던 곳이었으나 이후 시장규모가 상당히 큰 도시로 성장했다.[9][10]

이 마을에는 이사크 가문의 하브르 여로 가문의 아흐메드 파라 소파가 주로 거주하고 있다.[11]
