버몬트 그린 풋볼 클럽(Vermont Green Football Club)은 미국 버몬트주 벌링턴을 연고지로 하는 축구팀으로, 2022 시즌부터 USL 리그 2에 참가하고 있습니다.[1][2][3] 클럽 미션은 넷제로 축구클럽을 목표로 환경정의를 중심으로 진행됩니다.[4] 그들은 또한 원 퍼센트 포 더 플래닛(One Percent for the Planet)의 회원이며, 클럽 연간 수익의 1%를 승인된 환경 파트너에게 기부합니다.[5] VGFC의 환경 사절단은 BBC Sport, 가디언, 맨 인 블레이저 팟캐스트에서 취재를 이끌어냈습니다.[6][7][8]

역사

그린 이전에 버몬트 주 벌링턴 지역은 USL 리그 투 클럽인 버몬트 전압의 홈구장으로 1997년부터 2014년까지 활동했습니다.

2023년 12월 11일, 버몬트 그린이 처음으로 US 오픈 컵에 출전할 수 있는 자격을 얻었다고 발표되었습니다.[19]
