우타라 바오카르는 인도의 무대, 영화, 텔레비전 배우다. She acted in several notable plays, like as Padmavati in Mukyhamantri, Mena in Mena Gurjari, Desdemona in Shakespeare's Othello, the mother in playwright Girish Karnad's Tughlaq, the nautch girl in Chhote Saiyad Bade Saiyad and the lead role of Umrao in Umrao Jaan.[1] 1978년에는 쿠섬 쿠마르(Kusum Kumar)의 힌디 번역으로 제이완트 달비의 희곡 산디야 차하야(Sandhya Chahaya)를 감독하기도 했다.[2]
1984년에는 인도의 국립 연기 아카데미(힌디 극장)인 산제트 나탁 아카데미 상을 수상하였다.[3] 그녀는 또한 사다시브 암라푸르카르와 함께 하는 도기(1995년)와 레누카 다프타르다르, 우타라얀(2005년), 셰브리(2006년), 레스토랑(2006년)과 같은 마라티 영화에도 소날리 쿨카르니와 함께 출연했다.[4]
조기생활과 교육
우타라는 1968년 졸업하는 에브라힘 알카지 휘하의 델리 국립 연극학교(NSD)에서 연기를 공부했다.[5][6]
