타가(Taga)는 원래 타가(Taga)라고 불렸던, 브라만의 신분을 주장하는 경작자 카스트입니다.[1]토지 소유 공동체는 서부 우타르 프라데시, 하리아나, 델리, 라자스탄에 한정되어 있습니다.그들은 종종 가장 높은 농업용 카스트로 여겨집니다.[2]영국의 라지 (Raj) 시대에 그들은 자신들의 이름을 타가 (Taga)에서 타나기 (Tyagi)로 바꾸고 브라만의 지위를 주장하기 시작했습니다.[citation needed]1990년 하리아나 정부의 후진계급위원회의 보고서에 따르면, 그들은 대부분 농업에 종사했습니다.[3][4]하리아나 정부는 2016년에 5개의 다른 카스테스와 함께 티아기스에게 보호 구역을 허가했습니다.[5]그러나 펀자브 고등법원과 하리아나 고등법원은 곧 정부의 명령에 제동을 걸었습니다.[6]

다이어트
공동체의 구성원들은 일반적으로 채식주의자이지만 일부는 비채식을 먹습니다.[10]
