카트만두 포스트는 네팔에서 발행되는 주요 일간지입니다.1993년 2월 샤암 고엔카[3]의해 창간된 이 신문은 미국에서 [4][5]가장 큰 영자 신문 중 하나이다.이 신문은 네팔에서 가장 많이 팔리는 신문인 칸티푸르 출판사[7]독자적으로 소유하고[6] 발행하고 있다.포스트는 아시아 19개 [8]신문의 연합체인 아시아 뉴스 네트워크의 회원이다.카트만두 포스트는 네팔 최초의 민간 영자 신문으로 네팔에서 가장 많이 팔리는 영자 신문으로 하루 발행 부수는 95,000부이다.

포스트의 첫 5면은 주로 국내 뉴스를 다루고 있으며, 매일 마지막 페이지에는 설명자, 인터뷰, 자동차 리뷰, 레스토랑 리뷰 및 목적지를 포함한 다양한 특집 정보가 게재되어 있습니다.주중에는 문화·예술면도 게재되어 사회·생활·스타일·패션·테크놀로지에 관한 국내외 뉴스를 다루고 있습니다.주말이면 긴 형식의 저널리즘, 풍자, 창의적인 논픽션 [9]기사에 초점을 맞춘다.

논란

2007년 10월 카트만두 포스트 사무실은 네팔 통합공산당(마오이스트)의 옛 마오이스트 반군과 연계된 전 네팔인쇄출판노동자연합(All Nepal Printing and Publication Workers Union)의 공격을 받았다.인쇄기가 파손되어 신문 발행이 중지되었다.200명의 언론인과 법조인들은 이번 [12][13]공격에 항의하기 위해 카트만두에서 행진을 벌였다.

중국 대사관 논란
