Surf Life Saving Association of Wales

웨일즈 서프생명구조협회(SLSAW) (1969년 결성)는 웨일즈 서프 인명구조 국가 관리 기구다.[1]그것은 자발적이고 비영리적인 등록된 자선단체다.'물 속으로 빠져 인명피해를 막는 것'이 목표다.SLAW는 SLSA Wales 스틸워터 리그와 SLSA Wales Ocean Masters 챔피언십과 같은 지역 및 국가 대회를 조직하고 셀틱 챌린지 컵을 포함한 국제 행사를 위해 웨일스 선수단을 선정하고 관리한다.[2][3][4]

1994년 국제생명구조연맹(ILS) 생명구조 세계선수권대회가 카디프와 콘월 뉴퀘이에서 공동 개최되었다.SLSA 웨일즈는 2016년에 ILS의 회원이 되었다.[5]

SLAW는 노스웨일스의 앤글리시 주 로스네이그르와 사우스웨일스의 글래모건의 베리 사이에서 운영된다.29개 산하 자발적 생명구조 동아리와 3000명(마스터, 선배, 후배, 니퍼)의 회원을 두고 있다.[6]

웨일즈 서프 생명구조 협회는 글래모건의 발레 주 랑트윗 소령에서 결성되었다.
