해안기반시험시설
Shore-based test facility'육상시험시설'로도 알려진 해안기반시험시설(SBTF)은 항공모함에서 운항하는 항공기의 비행시험에 사용된다. 이들은 항모로부터 항공기를 운용할 조종사 훈련에도 사용된다. SBTF나 LBTF를 보유하고 있는 나라는 세계에서 4개국뿐이며 중국, 인도, 우크라이나/러시아, 미국이다.[1][2][3]
중국
중국 인민해방군 해군은 우한(武漢)에 1개, 후루다오에 1개 등 2개 시험장을 두고 있다.[4][5][6]
인도
인도 해군의 SBTF는 고아 INS 한사에 위치하며, 항모 INS Vikramaditya에 대한 미코얀 MiG-29K의 해군 조종사 양성 및 인증과 해군 HAL Tejas의 개발 시험 등에 사용된다.[7][8][9] 이 SBTF는 러시아의 네브스코예 항공개발국(ADA)이 설계했다. 스키점프는 포물선의 일부와 닮았고 14도의 기울기를 가지고 있다. 스키점프의 최고점은 지상에서 5.71m이다.[10]
우크라이나/러시아
우크라이나 해군은 노보페도리브카에 있는 옛 소련 해군 항공 기지를 물려받았다. 이 기지는 현재 러시아 해군이 항모 조종사 양성에 사용하는 니카 해군 조종사 양성소를 보유하고 있다. 크림반도에 있는 이 기지는 현재 러시아 통제하에 있다.[11][12][13]
미국
미 해군은 맥과이어-딕스-레이크허스트 기지의 지상 발사 시설에서 새로운 전자기 항공기 발사 시스템을 시험해 왔다.[14]
