Shobha Warrier

쇼바 워리어(Shobha Warrier)는 첸나이(Chenai)에 기반을 둔 인도의 언론인이자 작가다.[1] 그녀는 말라얄람에 "라마쿤담", "메하나" 그리고 "잘라비디야"라는 많은 단편 소설들을 출판하면서 창조적인 작가로서의 경력을 시작했다. 1996년 최후에 랄리담비카 사히티카 상(저자 겸 사회개혁가 랄리담비카 안타르자남의 이름을 딴 것)을 수상하였고, 이 은 후에 칸나다와 텔루구로 번역되었다.[2][3] 그러나 워리어 씨는 작품에서 인정을 받지 못했다고 느꼈고, 친구들의 설득을 받아 기자가 됐다.[4] 그녀는 연예 웹사이트 Rediff.com의 부 편집국장으로 일하고 있다.[2][5]

글쓰기 경력

Warrier는 4권의 책을 저술했는데, 모두 Vitasta 출판사에서 출판한 책들이다. 첫 번째는 저널리스트의 일기다. '어린 꽃소녀 등'(2013)은 저널리스트 시절 여러 사람과 만난 이야기 36개가 담긴 책이다. 이 책의 아이디어는 그녀가 HIV에 걸린 아이들을 위한 애쉬램을 방문하는 동안 처음 나왔다.[6] 그녀는 그 다음에 마하트마 간디의 삶을 만성화하면서 바푸 간디의 개인 비서 리콜(2016년)과 함께 그의 나날들을 썼다.[7] 드림차저스: 빈디야스 남쪽의 기업가들이 그녀의 세 번째 책으로 나왔고 2017년에 발매되었다.[8][9] 드림캐서즈: 빈디야스 남쪽의 여성 기업가(2018년)는 총 14명의 여성 기업가들에 대해 자세히 다룬 그녀의 네 번째 책이다.[4] 이 책의 발전은 와리어 교수가 학자인 아쇼크 준훈왈라를 만난 후 1997년에 시작되었다. 그녀는 힌두교 면접관에게 "junjunwala 때문에 그것에 끌렸다. 그는 우리가 '스타트업'과 같은 용어를 사용하기 훨씬 전에 [인도 기술 연구소 마드라스]에 인큐베이팅 센터를 가지고 있었다. 내가 인터뷰했을 때 그는 센터에 대해 얘기했고 내가 기업가 몇 명을 만나기를 바랬다고 말했다.[10]
