산탈리 영화관은 인도의 자르칸드, 웨스트벵골, 아삼, 오리사 주와 산탈인이 살고 있는 네팔 일부 지역(특히 자파 구와 모랑 구)에 존재감을 갖고 있다. 산탈리 영화는 산탈리어로 만들어진다.

역사

개요

산탈리 영화관은 인도의 대부분의 다른 영화관들처럼 영화 산업으로서의 정체성을 만들어내지 못했다. 매년 약 8~10편의 영화가 CD로만 직접 제작되어 발매된다. 저예산, 주정부의 영화발전 지원 미비 등으로 영화관에 개봉되는 작품은 없다. 예산은 매우 적고 제작비는 쉽게 회수할 수 있기 때문에 비디오 영화보다 음악 앨범이 더 선호된다. 이 숫자의 범위는 10에서 20까지입니다. 산탈리 영화관은 자르칸드, 웨스트벵골, 아삼, 오디샤 주 등에서 관객의 대다수가 이들 지역에 거주하고 있는 좋은 영역을 가지고 있다.

현재현황

자르칸드에 영화개발법인이 없어 산탈리 영화산업은 눈에 띄지 않는 위치에 있으며, 이로 인해 영화와 음악앨범은 비용 등의 이유로 적게 제작되고 비효율적으로 배급되고 있다.

자크핸드, 단바드, 잠셰드푸르와 그 주변은 제대로 된 영화관이 없고 인도 전역의 멀티플렉스 영화관에 비해 티켓 가격이 매우 저렴하다. 그래서 영화관에서 영화를 개봉하는 것은 그다지 이익이 되지 않는다.
