그레이트 솔트레이크 베이스와 메리디안

1855년 그리니치에서 서쪽으로 111° 54° 00°인 솔트레이크 자오선(Salt Lake City)에서 경도 111° 54° 00°인 솔트레이크 자오선(Solt Lake Meridian)은 초기 지점을 통해 북쪽과 남쪽으로 뻗어 있으며, 초기선을 통과하여 북위 40° 46° 04°의 평행선과 일치하여 조사를 지배한다. 그린위치에서 서쪽으로 109° 57° 30° 30° 경도 북쪽 40° 26° 20°의 위도 초기 지점에서 돌출된 Uintah 자오선과 기준선에 언급된 것을 제외하고.
