라이언 W. 그림 (Ryan W. 브렛 캐버노 대법관 지명 당시 그림 의원은 다이앤 파인스타인 캘리포니아 상원의원이 캐버노와 관련된 편지를 받았다고 가장 먼저 보도했는데, 이후 크리스틴 블레이시 포드로부터 캐버노가 고등학교 때 자신을 성폭행했다고 주장하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.[10][14] 그림 의원은 트럼프 보좌관의 전직 측근들의 학대 의혹에 대해서도 보도했다. 그는 알렉산드리아 오카시오코르테즈의 2018년 선거운동을 일찍 보고했다.[10]

2016년 그림에는 2016년 미국 대선 당시 파이브서티8 모델과 예측에 대해 의문을 제기하는 블로그 게시물이 실렸다. 그림의 비판은 나중에 파이브서티 에이트의 설립자 네이트 실버에 의해 거부되었고, 그림 은 그의 원래 블로그 포스트에 정정 기사를 발표했다.[15][16][17]

2020년 8월, 그림 씨는 진보 성향의 알렉스 모스 후보를 비방하려는 시도를 해체하기 위해 매사추세츠 대학 민주당 소속의 이메일을 사용했다.[18][19]
