일본혁신당(日本經濟黨, 닛폰이신노카이)[a] 일본보수우파 포퓰리즘 정당이다. 구 일본혁신당 분열로 2015년 10월 오사카에서 '시책'으로 결성된 이 정당은 2016년 7월 참의원 선거에 이어 국회 내 세 번째로 큰 야당이 됐다.

그 당은 지방분권,[4] 연방주의(도슈세이), 무상교육,[10] 유한정부,[6] 신자유주의를 표방한다.[5] 역사 수정주의를 표방하기도 했다.[11]

역사

2015년 10월 마쓰이 이치로 오사카부지사, 하시모토 도루 당시 오사카 시장이 일본혁신당을 탈당해 '오사카 이신노 카이로부터의 이니셔티브'라는 이름으로 창당하였다.[1][12] 일본식 명칭은 하시모토가 결성한 오사카복원회와 동일하나, 간지(大地)가 아닌 히라가나(おagさ)로 「오사카」를 표기함으로써 차별화되었다.[1]

한국당이 처음 경합한 주요 선거는 2016년 7월 참의원 선거였다. 간사이 지방에서는 오사카 대구의 4석 중 2석, 효고 대구의 3석 중 1석을 차지하는 등 선전했다.[13][14] 국민 홍보 블록에서는 515만3584표(9.2%)로 5위를 차지해 전체 의석 48석 중 4석을 차지했다. 오사카를 중심으로 다시 과반수가 몰렸다. 오사카현(129만3626명 34.9%)[15]에서 가장 많은 표를 얻었고 효고현(47만526명19.5%)에서 자민당(47만526명)에 이어 2위를 차지했다.[16] 의석수 증가로 그 당은 국회 의회에서 세 번째로 큰 야당이 되었다.[17] 그러나 선거 후 마츠이씨는 간사이 외에서의 부진은 국민 정당으로서는 용납할 수 없으며, 전국적인 호소력을 넓히기 위해 오사카라는 단어를 넣지 않은 새로운 이름을 채택할 것이라고 말했다.[18] 2016년 8월 23일 회의에서 당명을 닛폰이신노카이(日本本語本)로 변경하기로 의결했지만 공식 영문 명칭은 발표하지 않았다.[17]
