뉴캐슬 선
The Newcastle Sun
뉴캐슬 선(Newcastle Sun)은 오스트레일리아 뉴캐슬, 뉴사우스웨일즈에서 발행된 신문이다. 그것은 이전에 <북방 타임스>로 출판되었다.
역사
Northern Times는 1916년에 처음 발행되었다.[1] 1918년에 The Times는 The Sun의 발행인인 휴 데니슨 경에 의해 구입되었다. 그는 그 이름을 The Newcastle Sun으로 바꾸었다.[2] 뉴캐슬 선은 1936년 뉴캐슬 모닝 헤럴드에 인수되어 1980년 출판이 중단될 때까지 계속되었다.[3]
Northern Times (Northern Times와 Newcastle Telegraphy)라는 이름의 신문이 1857년부터 1860년까지 Maitland에서 발행되었다.[4][5] Northern Telegraph는 1916년에 출판이 재개되었다가 1918년에 Northern Times에 의해 흡수되었다.[6][5]
