나스 은행

Nath Bank

나트 은행(Bengali: নাথ ংকাক)은 크셰트라 나트 달랄이 1926년 현재 방글라데시에 있지만 그 후 분할되지 않은 인도에 세운 인도 소유의 은행이다. 인도 분할이 임박한 1947년까지 나트은행은 본사와 노아칼리 지역에 3개 지사를 두고 [1]티페라 구 코밀라에도 지점을 두고 있었다. 노아칼리와 티페라 지구는 파키스탄의 일부가 될 예정이었기 때문에 은행은 본사를 콜카타로 옮겼다. 이 기간 동안 인도 은행들은 심각한 위기에 직면해 있었다. 1949년에 나스 은행은 인도준비은행에 의해 구제되어야 했다.[2] 그마저도 위기를 해결하지 못해 은행은 1950년에 마침내 청산되었다.[2] 경제학자 아룬 고쉬는 그것의 붕괴를 지점 은행의 과도한 공격적 확대에 기인한 것으로 보고 있다.[3] 나스은행의 실패는 투자자들 사이에 공황을 일으켰다.[4]
