Netball New South Wales Waratahs는 호주 Netball League에서 Netball New South Wales를 대표하는 호주 Netball 팀이다. 2008년에 그들은 ANL의 창립 멤버였다. 이들은 2011년 ANL 챔피언이었고, 5차례 더 그랜드 파이널을 치러 빅토리안 퓨리에 이어 ANL에서 두 번째로 성공적인 팀이 되었다. 와라타스는 사실상 뉴사우스웨일스 스위프트의 예비팀이다.

넷볼 뉴사우스웨일스

와라타는 시니어 리그나 내셔널 리그에서 넷볼 뉴사우스웨일스를 대표하는 두 팀 중 하나이다. 그들의 선배 팀인 뉴사우스웨일즈 스위프트는 ANZ 챔피언십과 선코프 슈퍼넷볼에서 모두 Netball New South Wales를 대표했다. 넷볼 뉴사우스웨일스 역시 호주 넷볼 리그의 두 번째 팀인 NNSW 블루스에 진출했다.[1][2][3][4]

ANL 챔피언

2011년 와라타스는 빅토리아 퓨리 외에 호주 네트볼 리그 우승을 차지한 첫 번째 팀이 되었다. 결승전에서 그들은 퓨리를 55-46으로 이겼다. 우승한 와라타스 팀은 로버트 라이트가 지도하고 카를라 지와키 감독이 지휘했다. 다른 성공적인 선수단의 멤버로는 사만다 메이, 제시카 맨셀, 에이프릴 레튼, 애슐리 브레이질, 페이지 해들리, 베리티 시몬스, 아모레트 와일드, 티파니 링컨이 있었다.[1]
