역사

모틸랄 오스왈 금융서비스(MOFSL)는 모틸랄 오스왈과 라암데오 아그라왈이 1987년 브로킹하우스로 설립했다.[4]

이 회사는 2005년에 투자은행에 진출했고, 2006년에 사모펀드가 그 뒤를 이었다.[5]

2006년 2월 모틸랄 오스왈 파이낸셜서비스는 Kerala에 본사를 둔 브로킹 회사인 Rs. 35 크로어를 인수했다.[6] 2006년 인도은행,[7] 2007년 펀자브 내셔널은행, 2013년[8] 액스뱅크와 제휴해 고객들에게 온라인 거래를 제공했다.

2010년 1월 모틸랄오즈왈금융서비스는 모틸랄오즈왈자산운용사(MOAMC)라는 이름의 뮤추얼펀드 사업을 시작했다.[9]

2013년 모틸랄 오스왈 파이낸셜 서비스는 AHFCL(Aspire Home Financial Corporation Limited)을 설립했다.[4] 그 회사는 인도의 주택, 건설, 복합, 개선, 증축을 위해 대출을 제공한다.[10]

NSEL 사건의 혐의

모틸랄 오스왈은 몇몇 다른 최고 브로커들과 함께 NSEL의 각종 비리로 고발되었다. EOW-Mumbai, SFIO 등 기관들은 모틸랄 오스왈 등 상위 5개 브로커들이 거래소 플랫폼에서 NBFC를 통해 NSEL 계약을 잘못 판매하고 KYC 조작, 고객 코드 수정, 베나미 거래 및 검은돈 투입 등의 혐의로 유죄를 선고했다.[11] EOW는 2015년 3월 IIFL, Geofin Comtrade & Anand Rathi 등 3개 증권사의 고위직원을 체포했다.[12][13] 이어 시장규제기관, SEBI가 2016년, 2017년, 2018년, 2019년 각각 브로커에게 복수의 쇼케이스 공지를 발행했다.[14][15] EOW-Mumbai는 또 증권사 IIFL, 모틸랄 오스왈 & 아난드 라티 3사가 고객을 속였다고 비난했다.[16][17] SEBI는 SFIO & EOW의 브로커의 비행에 대한 보고서 추천을 바탕으로 2019년 2월 마지막 주에 인도 인폴린 원자재(IIIFL)와 함께 모틸랄 오스왈을 상품파생상품 중개업자로 '적합하지 않고 적절하지 않다'고 선언했다.[18][19][20][21]
