마나티(Manatí) 스페인어 발음: [mana ˈti]는 푸에르토리코 북부 해안에 위치한 도시이자 지방 자치체로, 모로비스와 시알레스의 북쪽, 플로리다와 바르셀로나의 동쪽, 베가 바하의 서쪽에 위치합니다. 마나티(Manatí)는 8개의 바리오스와 마나티 바리오푸에블로(Manatí barrio-pueblo, 도심지와 행정 중심지)에 걸쳐 있습니다. 산후안카과스과이나보 대도시 통계 지역의 일부입니다.

역사

마나티는 1799년 돈 페드로 메넨데스 발데스에 의해 설립되었습니다. 이글레시아 누에스트라 세뇨라 데 라 칸델라리아 교회는 17세기에 지어졌고 지금도 원래 자리에 서 있습니다.[2] 마나티는 라 시우다드 메트로폴리타나(The Metropolitana) 또는 라 아테나 데 푸에르토리코(Las Atenas de Puerto Rico)로 알려져 있습니다.[3] 이것의 이름은 바다 포유동물인 해우(바다 소)의 이름을 따서 지어졌습니다.
