List of prime ministers of Italy이탈리아의 총리는 이탈리아 정부에서 실질적인 행정권을 가진 각료 이사회의 수장입니다.[1][2]최초의 공직자는 카보우르 백작 카밀로 벤소로, 1861년 3월 23일 이탈리아 통일 이후 취임했습니다.[3]카부르는 이전에 사르데냐 왕국의 총리를 지냈는데, 이 자리에서 이탈리아 총리가 권력과 의무의 대부분을 차지했습니다.[4]군주제 기간 동안 총리는 알베르틴 법령에 명시된 대로 이탈리아 왕에 의해 임명되었습니다.[5]1925년부터 1943년까지 파시스트 독재자 베니토 무솔리니는 공식적으로 "정부 수반, 총리, 국무장관"[6]으로 직책을 변경했습니다.1861년부터 1946년까지 30명의 남성이 총리로 재직하며 총 67개의 정부를 이끌었습니다.[7]

이탈리아 역사상 가장 오래 재임한 총리는 1922년부터 1943년까지 이탈리아를 통치한 베니토 무솔리니입니다.[13] 이탈리아 공화국의 가장 오래 재임한 총리는 1994년부터 2011년까지 9년 이상 재임한 실비오 베를루스코니입니다.[14]1905년 16일간 총리직을 수행한 토마소 티토니가, 1960년 123일간 집권한 페르난도 탐브로니가 이탈리아 공화국의 최단 재임 총리였습니다.[15][16]
