시리아 아랍 공화국과 동맹국

시리아군

봉기와 전쟁이 발발하기 전 시리아군은 정규군 325,000명과 예비군 [citation needed]28만~30만명으로 추산되었다.정규군 중 22만 명은 '육군'이었고 나머지는 해군, 공군, 방공군이었다.시리아 인권관측소는 2011년 6월 망명 이후 2012년 7월까지 수만 명의 병사가 [citation needed]망명했다고 추산했다.

국방군

이란

민족

2011년 8월 23일 결성된 국가평의회는 터키에 본부를 둔 반정부 단체들의 연합체이다.국가평의회는 바샤르 알아사드의 통치의 종식과 현대적이고 시민적이며 민주적인 국가의 설립을 추구한다.SNC는 자유 시리아군과 연계되어 있다.2012년 11월 11일 도하에서 국가평의회와 다른 반정부 단체들은 시리아 혁명군과 반정부군[46]위한 국민연합으로 통합되었다.SNC는 시리아 국민연합 [47]60석 중 22석을 차지하고 있다.다음 날, 그것은 수많은 페르시아만 국가들에 의해 시리아의 합법적인 정부로 인정받았다.

시리아 반대

2015년 12월, 미국 전쟁 연구소에 의하면, FSA라고 하는 단체가 알레포, 하마, 시리아 남부 지역에 여전히 존재하고 있어, FSA는 「반군 그룹 중 가장 크고, 가장 세속적인 그룹」[60]이었다.

시리아 국민군

2017년 12월 30일, 시리아 임시 정부의 기치로 운영되는 최소 30개의 파벌이 4개월간의 준비 끝에 통합된 무장 단체로 통합되었다.총리이자 국방장관인 자와드 아부 하탑은 아자즈에서 반군 지휘관들을 만난 후 시리아 국민군 창설을 발표했다.새로 구성된 기구는 22,000명의 전투기를 보유하고 있으며, 그들 중 다수는 [68]터키에 의해 훈련되고 장비를 갖추고 있다고 주장했다.원래는 유프라테스 [69]방패 작전의 일환으로 터키 점령 지역에 집중되어 있었지만, SNA는 2019년 북서 시리아 [70][71][69]공세 기간 동안 이들리브 주에 주둔지를 설치했으며, 2019년 10월 4일 민족해방전선이 SNA에 합류하면서 주둔지를 강화했다.

살라피스트파

시리아 아랍 공화국과 시리아 반정부 세력 모두 군사적으로나 외교적으로나 외국의 지원을 받아 종종 대리전으로 [137]묘사되기도 한다.아사드 정부를 지지하는 주요 정당은 러시아, 이란, 헤즈볼라이다.시리아의 주요 야당 단체인 시리아 연합은 미국, 영국,[138] 프랑스로부터 정치적, 물류적, 군사적 지원을 받고 있다.
