윌프리드 로리에 대학교는 캐나다 온타리오워털루위치한 공립 대학으로 1911년 캐나다 복음주의 루터 신학교와 후에 워털루 루터 대학교로 설립되었다.1973년 윌프리드 로리에 대학법에 따라 온타리오 정부에 의해 윌프리드 로리에 대학교로 개칭되었다.[1]이 학교는 캐나다에서 가장 빠르게 성장하고 있는 대학 중 하나로, 2002년부터 2007년까지 등록이 두 배로 증가했으며 2008년 현재 12,000명의 정규 학부생을 두고 있다.[2]윌프리드 로리에 대학도 브란트포드와 온타리오주 키치너에 두 개의 위성캠퍼스를 두고 있다.[3][4]
