새크라멘토 지역 교통 지구 또는 새크라멘토 RT는 미국 캘리포니아새크라멘토의 일부에 서비스를 제공하는 3선 도시 경전철 대중 교통 네트워크를 운영하고 있다.이 네트워크는 1987년에 개통된 청색선과 금색선, 2012년에 개통된 녹색선 등 3개 노선으로 구성되어 있다.[1][2][3]43마일(69km)의 이 네트워크는 2012년 기준으로 하루 56,800명이 넘는 승객을 태우고 있어, 미국에서 10번째로 큰 경전철이다.[4][5][6]

네트워크상의 역들은 악천후로부터 보호하기 위한 승객용 캐노피를 특징으로 하는 야외 구조물이다.26개 역이 버스 환승 서비스를 제공하고 18개 역은 무료 주차장이 있으며 총 7,379대의 주차 공간이 있다.[5]몇몇 역에 포함된 공공미술 작품들은 RT 공공미술 프로그램의 일환으로 개발되었으며 모자이크, 조각, 금속공예, 벽화 등 다양한 매체를 대표한다.각각 역을 둘러싼 동네 특유의 정체성과 장소의식을 통합하기 위해 위촉되었다.[7]

경전철 서비스는 1987년 3월 12일 와트/I-808 & O 사이의 13개 역이 개통되면서 시작되었다.[1]최초 노선의 2단계는 1987년 9월 5일에 개통되었으며, 아카이브 플라자버터필드 사이에 13개의 역이 있다.[2]1994년 39번가48번가인필역이 한 쌍 개설되었다.[8]원래 네트워크의 일부로 포함되었던 두 역은 철도 프로젝트에 대한 태도 변화로 인해 인근 지역의 반대로 인해 연기되었다.[9]1998년, 원래의 네트워크로의 첫 연장선으로서 Mather Field / Mills란초 코르도바에 오픈했다.[10]구는 2003~2007년 복수확장사업의 일환으로 17개 역을 개소해 새크라멘토, 란초코르도바, 골드리버, 폴섬 등에 역이 건설됐다.[11][12][13][14][15]2012년 6월 15일, 7 & 리차드/ 타운쉽 9호그린 라인에 건설된 첫 번째 새로운 역으로서 개통되었다.[3]2015년 8월 24일 블루라인에 3개의 역이 추가로 개통되어 코섬네스 리버 칼리지까지 4.3마일(6.9km) 연장되었고,[16] 연장선상에 4번째 역인 모리슨 크릭이 2021년 8월에 개통되었다.[17]

아직 개념적인 개발 단계에 있지만 그린 라인은 새크라멘토 시내새크라멘토 국제공항을 연결하는 데 약 13마일(21km)의 선로를 추가할 것이다.[18]
