미니애폴리스 시 등 미네소타주 헤네핀 카운티를 서비스하는 헤네핀 카운티 도서관은 24개 시·읍 41개 분점으로 구성되어 있다.[1]이 중 15개는 미니애폴리스에 있다. 그들은 합병을 통해 헤네핀 시스템에 흡수될 때까지 모두 미니애폴리스 공공도서관을 구성했다.[2]원래 카네기 도서관으로 4개 분관(센트럴, 프랭클린, 호스머, 섬너)이 설립되었다.[3]시스템과 별개로 여러 개의 다른 도서관도 카운티 경계 내에서 운영된다.
