쿠르만지(쿠르드어: [6][7][8][9]کوماجی ,, 쿠르드어(Kurdish: کومای ,, Kurmancî, 뜻)[5]쿠르드어족의 북방 사투리로[11][15] 터키 남동부, 북서부와 이란 북동부, 이라크 북부, 시리아 북부, 코카서스호라산 지역에서 주로 쓰인다.[1][10][11][12][16]쿠르드어 중 가장 널리 사용되는 형태로서, 시리아어/시리아어,[17][18] 아르메니아어,[19] 체첸어, 서커스어,[20] 불가리아어쿠르드어 이외의 소수민족에게도 고유어다.[21]

쿠르만지 쿠르드족에 대한 최초의 문헌 기록은 대략 16세기로 거슬러 올라가며, 에메데 자노(1650–1707)와 같은 유명한 쿠르드족 시인들이 이 방언으로 썼다.[22][8]쿠르만지 쿠르드어는 야지디스의 일반적이고 의례적인 방언이기도 하다.[23]그들의 신성한 책 미셰파 레제와 모든 기도는 쿠르만지(Kurmanji)에서 쓰여지고 말해진다.[24]

음운론

쿠르만지의 음운학적 특징에는 흡인된 음운과 흡인되지 않은 음운 멈춤의 구별과 기능적인 음운들의 존재가 포함된다.[25][26]예를 들어 쿠르만지 쿠르드족은 모든 위치에서 흡인할 수 있는 흡인된 음소거지와 흡인되지 않은 음소거지를 구별한다.따라서 /p//pʰ/, /t//tʰ/, /kʰ//k/, /t͡ʰ/는 /t͡ʃ/와 동일시된다.[26]

방언 연속체

쿠르만지는 변덕이 큰 방언의 연속체를 이룬다.느슨하게 6개의 하위 대화면 영역을 구별할 수 있다.[27]

에즈드키치와 야지디 정치

일부 야지디스 중에서는 쿠르만지(Kurmanji)가 쿠르드족과의 차별화를 위해 에즈드키(Ezdîkî)라는 용어명을 사용하고 있다.에즈드kk from은 쿠르만지와 다를 바 없지만, 일부는 에즈드 languagek claims이 셈어라는 주장을 포함하여 독자적인 언어라는 것을 증명하려는 시도도 있다.[23][29][30][31][32]이는 과학적 근거에 근거하지 않고 과학적 공감대가 부족하다는 지적을 받아왔다.[33]

2002년 1월 25일 아르메니아는 유럽 지역 또는 소수 언어 헌장을 비준하고 쿠르드어를 국가 보호 하에 두었다.[34]그러나 아르메니아의 분열된 야지디 커뮤니티와 일부 지역사회의 거센 비난이 이어지자 당국은 '쿠르디쉬'와 '예지디'를 두 개의 별도 언어로 모두 언급해 헌장 비준을 선택했다.[35]이로 인해 아르메니아의 쿠르드어 화자는 대부분 야지디스(Yazidis)이기 때문에 아르메니아에서 소수 언어에 대한 문제를 탐구할 때 일부 연구자들이 에즈데크라는 용어를 사용하게 되었다.[36]이러한 움직임의 결과로, 아르메니아 대학들은 쿠르만지와 에즈데크어 양쪽의 어학 강좌를 서로 다른 두 방언으로 제공한다.[37]
