케플러-160은 라이라 별자리에 있는 우리 은하계 팔의 폭에 가까운 주계열성으로, NASA가 주도하는 지구 행성 발견 작업인 케플러 미션에 의해 처음으로 자세히 연구되었다.질량과 반지름에서 태양과 매우 유사한 이 별에는 세 개의 확인된 행성과 한 개의 확인되지 않은 행성이 궤도를 돌고 있다.[3][2]
특성.
케플러-160 별은 다소 오래되어 감지할 수 있는 항성 원반이 없다.[4]이 별의 야금성은 알려지지 않았으며, 태양 야금성의 40% 또는 160%의 상충되는 값이 보고되었다.[5][6]
이 시스템(및 다른 모든 시스템) 중에서 외계인 지성을 찾는 '개척지 경청'은 잠재적 기술자를 발견하지 못했다.[7]
행성계
케플러-160 시스템의 두 행성 후보는 2010년에 발견되었고, 2011년[8] 초에 출판되어 2014년에 확인되었다.[9]케플러-160b와 케플러-160c 행성들은 궤도 주기 비율이 1:3에 가깝지만 궤도 공진 상태에 있지 않다.[10]
거주 가능 구역에 위치한 또 다른 암석 전이 행성 후보 KOI-456.04는 2020년에 발견되었으며,[2] 전달 시간 변화에 대한 해결책의 잔차로 인해 더 많은 비 전이 행성이 의심되고 있다.연구자들이 알 수 있는 것으로 보아 KOI-456.04는 지구 크기의 2배 미만인 것으로 보이며 지구에서 태양까지 거의 같은 거리에 있는 케플러-160 궤도를 돌고 있는 것으로 보인다(완전 궤도 1개는 378일).아마도 가장 중요한 것은, 지구가 태양으로부터 얻는 빛의 약 93%를 받는다는 것이다.[11]비번역 행성 후보 케플러-160d는 지구 질량 약 1에서 100개의 질량을 가지며 궤도 주기는 약 7에서 50 d이다.[2]
