제이 웨스터벨드(Jay Westerbelt, Westerbeldt라고도 함)는 클람새우, 보그거북, 북 크리켓 개구리 등 멸종위기종과 연관된 서식지 연구자다.웨스터벨드는 "그린워싱"이라는 용어를 만들었고 뉴욕 주에서 생태 보존 노력을 기울이고 있다.

경력

1986년 웨스터벨드는 호텔 업계의 1986년 에세이 심사 관행에서 그린워시라는 용어를 만들었다.[1][2][3]
