인도마트 인터메쉬(IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd. India MART InterMESH Ltd.)는 B2B와 고객을 자사 웹 포털을 통해 고객 세일즈 서비스에 제공하는 인도의 전자상거래 기업이다.[3] 이 단체는 1996년 디네쉬 아가왈과 브리제시 아가왈이 인도 제조업체와 바이어를 연결하기 위한 기업 간 포털 사이트 [4]IndiaMART.com을 설립하면서 시작됐다.[5][6] 이 회사는 인도 우타르프라데시주 노이다에 본사를 두고 있다.

IndiaMART had an aggregate of 32.5 crore (325.8 million), 55.2 crore (552.6 million) and 72.3 crore (723.5 million) visits in fiscals 2017, 2018 and 2019, respectively, of which 20.4 crore (204.8 million), 39.6 crore (396.9 million) and 55 crore (550.3 million) were mobile traffic, which is 63%, 72% and 76% of total traffic, respectively.[7] 현재 인도MART 앱은 안드로이드에서 4.7 앱 등급으로 1 크로어(1000만) 이상의 다운로드를 보유하고 있다.[8]

배경

사촌인 Dinesh Agarwal과 Brijesh Agrawal은 델리-NCR 지역의 고객들을 위한 웹사이트들의 디렉토리로 인도 MART를 시작했다.[15] 그 당시 인도는 15,000명의 인터넷 사용자만 가지고 있었다.[16] 1999년까지 그 디렉토리는 1000개 이상의 목록을 가지고 있었다.[17]

닷컴 불황을 딛고 미국 경기침체가 닥쳤던 2008~2009년 수출 주력 사업에서 인도 중심의 B2B 시장으로 집중 공략하기로 하고 인텔캐피탈에서 1000만달러를 조달했다.[18]

2014년 11월 인도마트는 인도 영화배우 인레판 칸을 브랜드 홍보대사로 내세운 홍보 캠페인을 시작했다.[19]

리서치업체 KPMG에 따르면 지난 10년간 인도마트는 약 60%의 시장 점유율을 가진 기업들을 위한 최대 전자상거래 플랫폼이 되었다.[20] 이 회사는 기계 부품, 의료 장비 및 섬유 제품에서 크레인에 이르기까지 인도의 수천 개의 마을과 도시에서 9만 7천 개의 제품 범주를 취급하고 있다.[20] 아그파 헬스케어 인도, 케이스 뉴 홀랜드 건설 장비(인도), 힐티 인도, JCB 인도, 노벨 위생 등은 이 회사 시장에서 몇 가지 큰 공급업체다.[21]

법적 문제

인도마트는 2020년 11월 JD마트가 제안한 기업간거래 시장에 대한 웹사이트 컴파일을 복사한 혐의로 저스트다이얼을 델리 고등법원에 저작권 침해 소송을 제기했다.[46][47]
