HMS 던트리스함은 영국 왕실 해군을 위해 건조된 45형 또는 대담한급 방공 구축함 중 두 번째 함선이다. 2007년 1월 고반에서 진수되었고, 2009년 12월 3일 영국 해군에 인계되어 2010년 6월 3일 정식으로 임관되었다.

건설

던트리스의 건설은 2004년 8월 클라이드 강에 있는 고반의 BAE 시스템 해군함마당에서 시작되었다. 그녀는 2007년 1월 23일 오후 3시 25분 당시 해군 최고사령관이었던 제임스 버넬-누젠트 제독의 부인인 레이디 버넬-누젠트에 의해 발사되었다. 던트리스함은 뉴캐슬-업온-틴의 채택된 군함이다. 그녀의 모듈들은 BAE Govan에서 외부로 조립되었기 때문에, 그녀의 자매선인 Dolling보다 더 많은 구조를 완성할 수 있었는데, 그것은 전년에 Scotstoun의 커버드 시설에서 발사되었다.
