그라실라리아(Gracilaria)는 홍조류(Rhodophyta)의 속으로서, 농업생물로써의 경제적 중요성과 더불어 인간과 다양한 조개류의 먹이로 이용되는 것으로 유명하다. 속 안의 다양한 종들이 아시아, 남미, 아프리카, 오세아니아에서 재배된다.

분배

그레이실라리아는 온대수에서도 계절적으로 발생하지만 전 세계의 따뜻한 물에서 발견된다. 10°C(50°F) 미만의 온도는 견딜 수 없다. Gracilaria는 북극을 제외한 모든 바다에서 발견된다. 그것의 다양성의 중심지는 서태평양인데, 이곳은 전통적으로 한지의 원천으로 경작되어 왔다.[1][2]

그라실라리아필리핀, 하와이, 일본, 한국 음식에서 음식으로 사용된다.[3] 일식 요리에서는 오고노리 또는 오고라고 부른다. 필리핀에서는 굴라만이라고 불리며 젤라틴을 만드는데 사용된다.[4] 자메이카에서는 아일랜드 이끼로 알려져 있다.[5] 한국에서는 꽃시래기로 알려져 있다.

일본뇌염 바이러스 감염에 대한 시험관내생체내 실험에서 다당류에서 한가라제 소화에 의해 준비된 중합도 6그라실라리아 올리고당류가 효과적인 예방제임이 입증되었다. 그라실라리아 sp에서 나온 황화과당류는 항바이러스제로서 추가 개발 가능성이 높은 것으로 보인다.[6]

수족관 무역

Gracilaria는 수족관 무역에서 흔히 판매되는 매크로로 등장한다. 그것[7] 톡 쏘는 것과 많은 다른 초식성 물고기들에게 매우 입맛에 맞는 해조류로, 영양소 섭취 능력이 있어 리푸기에 적합한 선택이다.
