기원과 연혁

고팔라(가우다)족은 모든 야다브족과 마찬가지로 1930년 아리아 사마즈에 의한 산스크리트화 과정 이후 고대 야다바족의 크리슈나족의 후손이라고 주장합니다.[6][15] 1930년에 열린 마하사바에서 아히르, 가우다스, 고팔라 등의 낙농 기근 카스트들은 자신들을 "크리슈나의 아들"로 식별하도록 권고받았으며, 따라서 그들은 자신들을 무술 카스트로 식별할 수 있습니다.[16]
