제럴드 제임스 마이클 가즈다르(1950년 2월 24일생)는 언어학자 겸 컴퓨터 과학자다.
교육
Heath Mount School, Bradfield College, University of East Anglia(BA, 1970), University of Reading University(MA, PhD)에서 교육을 받았다.[3]
직업 및 연구
가즈다르는 1975년 서섹스 대학교의 강사로 임명되었고, 1985년 그곳에서 전산언어학 교수가 되었다. 그는 2002년에 은퇴했다.[citation needed]
Gazdar는 Linear Indexed Grammars를 정의하고 그의 동료인 Ewan Klein, Geoffrey Pullum, Ivan Sag와 함께 일반화된 문구 구조 그래머의 프레임워크를 개척했다.
