역사

지열 온수는 적어도 기원전 2세기부터 로마의 목욕탕과 같은 [9]하이로폴리스의 스파에서 사용되어 왔습니다.[10]수천 개의 온천과 수백 개의 스파는 고대부터 로마인들을 포함한 관광과 건강을 위해 사용되어[11] 왔습니다.[12]2007년 정부는 열 관광을 위한 마스터 플랜을 발표했습니다.[13]

2010년에 설치된 지열 발전 용량은 100MW인 반면 직접 사용하는 설비는 거의 800MWt에 달했습니다.[21] 2017년에는 발전 용량이 10배 이상 확대되어 1GW 이상이 되었고, 2009년부터 2019년까지 지열 발전소의 수는 3기에서 49기로 증가했습니다.[22][18]

지질학

지표면 아래 몇 킬로미터까지 (거의 5킬로미터까지[23]: 4 시추가 이루어짐) 대부분의 암석은 물의 끓는점보다 더 시원하지만, 멘데레스 매시프에는 거의 300°C에 이르는 [14]고온의 자원이 몇 개 있습니다.[24]: 2 대규모 구조론으로 인해 서쪽 지역의 최고 기온을 기록하고 있습니다.[23]: 2 130°C가 넘는 16개의 밭이 있는데, 1개는 마르마라 지역, 나머지는 에게 지역에 있습니다.[25]: 5 높은 지열 잠재력은 서부 아나톨리아와[26] 서부 아나톨리아 그라벤 시스템(Büyük Menderes and Gediz Grabens[25]: 5 )의 방사선 생성 화강암과 같은 터키의 지질학적인 영향 때문입니다.4000 평방 킬로미터 이상에 달하는 이 화강암들의 방사능에 의해 발생하는 열은 약 5에서 16 µW/m에 이릅니다.

이산화탄소 배출량

부유크 멘데레스와 게디즈 그라벤스변성암 지질학은 특이합니다. 특히 산성 조건에서 암석에 있는 석회석은 주변의 매우 뜨거운 물에 많은 이산화탄소를2 방출할 수 있습니다.[28]터키의 새로운 지열 발전소에서 나오는 CO2 배출량은 900에서 1300 g/kWh[29](석탄 발전과 유사)로 세계에서 가장 높은 수준이지만 점차 감소합니다.[30][31][32]2020년 보고서에 따르면, 이러한 단기적인 높은 이산화탄소2 배출량은 처리될 수 있습니다.[33][note 1]조치에는 저장소에 재주입하거CarbFix와 같은 제거 방법이 포함될 수 있습니다.[33][35]시간이 지남에 따라 배출량이 감소하기 때문에 세계은행은 평생 배출량이 세계 지열 평균과 비슷할 것으로 추정했습니다.[36]이 두 손아귀 밖에서는 문제가 예상되지 않습니다.[37]: 24

대부분의 지역에서 암석이 증기를 만들어 전기를 생산할 정도로 충분히 뜨겁지는 않지만, 이론적으로 총 잠재력이 60기가와트 열(GWth – 열이[39] 얼마나 빨리 생성되는지를 의미하는 열 전력을 의미하는 GWth)을 [5]가진 거의 모든 지역이 난방 가능성을 가지고 있습니다.[24]: 1 40~45°C의 낮은 온도를 사용합니다.[23]: 5 터키는 1120MWt 지역 난방, 855MWt 온실 난방, 많은 스파와 호텔을 포함하여 거의 4GW를 직접 사용하는 중국 다음으로 두 번째입니다.[40][41]스파가 터키 관광 시즌을 연장해 주기를 기대합니다.[42]

가동중인 발전소

2022년 기준으로 27개 지열전에 63개의 식물이[3] 있습니다.[24]: 4 터키는 지열발전 분야에서 세계 4위를 차지하고 있으며, 미국의 절반 정도이며, 인도네시아필리핀보다는 약간 적습니다.[4]규제 기관은 에너지 시장 규제 기관입니다.

거의 모든 지열 발전소는 터키에서 세 번째로 큰 도시인 이즈미르의 남쪽이나 동쪽에 있습니다.[49]ı즈 ı델데레가 가장 강력하고, 에펠러가 그 뒤를 이룹니다.2020년 수열(증강이 아닌 기존 지열)로 인한 전기 발전 잠재력은 실제 용량의 두 배가 넘는 4GW로 추정되었습니다.[26]

환경영향 및 여론조사

2019년 에넬은 88KEYS Institute를 후원하여 지열 잠재력이 가장 높은 ı주 아이드(Ayd)에서 여론조사를 실시했습니다.그 당시, 45세 이상의 사람들 중 5분의 1 이상이 지열이 건강에 해를 끼치고 있다고 믿었습니다.[54]그 연령대의 약 절반이 또한 적절히 관리하면 해롭지 않다고 믿었고, 젊은 사람들의 약 3분의 2가 그렇게 생각했습니다.[54]2010년대에는 중금속이 물이나 토양으로 방출될 가능성에 대한 우려가 있었지만, 2017년 관개용수에서 붕소가 발견되어 농작물에 피해를 줄 수 있지만, 2022년 현재 발전소에서 발생하는 중금속 오염은 발견되지 않았습니다.[55]하지만 비소는 직접 가열한 회색 물에서 발견되었고 그러한 물은 바이오차에 의해 걸러질 수 있다고 제안되어 왔습니다.[56]

자금조달
