Coral Pink Sand Dundes State Park는 미국 유타주 남서부에 있는 주립 공원이며, Kane County의 89번 미국 고속도로 남쪽과 서쪽의 Mount Carmel Junction과 Kanab 사이에 위치하고 있습니다.붉은 사암 절벽 옆에 위치한 독특한 분홍빛 모래 언덕이 특징입니다.

사구는 공원을 둘러싼 분홍색 나바호 사암이 침식되면서 형성되었습니다.모키스 산맥과 모카신 산맥 사이의 칼집을 통과하는 강풍은 느슨한 모래 입자를 주워다가 벤추리 효과로 모래 언덕 위로 떨어뜨린다.그 모래언덕들은 10,000년에서 15,000년 정도 [2]된 것으로 추정된다.

이 공원에서는 캠핑, 하이킹, 오프로드 차량 운전, 사진 촬영 등이 가능하다.265에이커(1.07km2)의 보존 면적이 있으며, 총 면적은 3,370에이커(13.6km2)이다.1963년에 유타 주립 공원으로 설립되었습니다.

모래 보드도 인기 있는 활동이며,[4] 모래 보드나 모래 썰매를 공원에서 직접 대여할 수 있습니다.

코랄 핑크 모래 언덕 호랑이 딱정벌레(시신델라 알비시마)는 모래 언덕의 고유종으로 세계 어디에서도 [5][6]찾아볼 수 없다.이 공원에는 또한 연방정부의 멸종위기종인 [7]웨일즈 밀크위드로 알려진 희귀식물인 아스클레피아스 웰시이(Asclepias welshii)의 나머지 개체들도 대부분 살고 있다.
